About
Scriptal is built and run by Andy Stearman. There's no engineering team, no support tier, no faceless platform between you and the work. Your project is run by a human who actually thinks about your business.
That's the whole pitch. Most analysis tools want to scale to thousands of customers and treat each one like a row in a database. Scriptal is the opposite. Fewer customers, deeper relationships, custom outputs.
The first thing was a Chrome extension called TranscriptExporter. It pulls transcripts out of Fathom and Fireflies as plain text files. Hundreds of people bought it.
The interesting part was who bought it. Sales leaders with hundreds of recorded calls. Coaches with thousands of client sessions. Founders sitting on years of customer interviews. They all had the same problem: a pile of transcripts and no way to find anything useful in it.
They were buying a Chrome extension because they thought their data was worth something. They just couldn't get to it.
So I started building the analysis on top.
The methodology was built hand-in-hand with the first customers. Not in a lab. Not against a benchmark. On real corpora, with real outcomes:
Each project teaches the methodology something new. Each one extends what's possible for the next customer.
SaaS treats every customer the same. Same dashboard, same features, same one-size-fits-all reports. That works at massive scale. It doesn't work when your business has a specific shape and you need a specific answer.
Bespoke means I look at your conversations, your industry, your edge cases, and build the report that actually answers your question. If the standard ICP report doesn't fit your business, we change it. If your customers use vocabulary that needs custom signal extraction, we add it.
No tickets. No support tier. No "that's not what our platform does." We build what you actually need.
Each bespoke project produces reusable infrastructure. The plan is to expose that infrastructure through the AI tools customers already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, custom dashboards. Not as another SaaS dashboard with another login, but as a layer that plugs into where work already happens.
The bespoke service stays. It's how we figure out what's worth productizing in the first place.
If you have hundreds or thousands of transcripts and a real question to answer, book a call.
